Fabrication and Demonstration of a 3D-printing/PDMS Integrated Microfluidic Device

3D printing is an attractive method to fabricate microfluidic devices due (1) its fast and simple process without specialized equipment cleanroom environment, (2) capability create complex structures. Combined with Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), it can be used develop various taking advantage of both PDMS. In this paper, we investigated a Digital Light Processing (DLP) printer printing/PDMS integrated devices. We master mold for the PDMS substrate containing pneumatic ports channels. The optimal design parameters print symmetrical microchannel structure were determined. also measured accuracy taper structures as example Then, fabricated device by integrating component printed substrate. operation was demonstrated using dye solutions. fluidic control results clearly show works expected.
